Identifying, assessing, protecting, developing and creating Social Capital

When Robert Putnam published his study on America’s declining social capital in 1995 – title: Bowling Alone – this was the beginning of worldwide studies on social capital. This video on Kensington Avenue in Philadelphia shows without words today’s social reality (August 2023) in the United States. It leaves us speachless.

The second video shows a street scene in a rich district. A father calls the police to get his daughter out of his 100k vehicle. Je resists pretending that he has Dementia. Hard to believe that in any other country the police would do this job.
